Work Eat Buy Consume Die

Description:

Sticker by unknown artist. "By treating the planet and its resources as an inexhaustible, disposable commodity, consumer capitalism literally threatens our very long term existence. Without even beginning to consider the damaging effects of wage-slavery on us (see Work is Slavery), the colossal production-consumption corollary spawns poverty, misery, and ill health – surely a recipe for far-reaching and radical social change if ever there was one." -- Solidarity Federation Section of the International Workers Association website. Sticker features an anti-capitalist slogan and portrays a repeated image of a person pushing a shopping cart. The last image in the sequence shows the consumer falling off of a conveyor belt.
